Every account gets the whole editor. What differs is how much footage the AI works through for you.
For trying it properly on real footage, not a toy clip.
For people editing regularly, who need it to keep up.
Because the AI editing costs real money to run, and we would rather do it well for people who are signed in than badly for everyone. Sign-in is Google only, one click, and we see your name and email and nothing else.
No. Transcription, noise cleanup, editing and export all happen in your browser, on your machine. What goes to our server is text: the transcript and a list of sections, so the AI can plan an edit. The one exception is server-side voice separation, which sends that stretch of audio and asks first.
Footage the AI works through for you: reading the video, planning the story, and making the cut. Editing by hand, recording, transcribing and exporting do not count, and never will.
The AI features pause until the week rolls over. The editor keeps working — your project, your edits and your export are yours regardless.
